If you cannot work
Would income keep coming in while you recover, or would the bills immediately fall on your family?
For truck drivers • owner-operators • pilot-car operators
We help you protect the income, family, and future waiting beyond the next mile—without the pressure, confusing language, or one-size-fits-all answers.
Built by a family that has lived the trucking life—not by people guessing what life on the road is like.
This is personal to us
Long days. Missed moments. Unpredictable income. Benefits that may not follow you when the job changes. You carry more than freight—you carry the responsibility of getting home and keeping your family steady.
Most drivers are handed products before anyone takes the time to understand their route, employment, health, family, or goals. We start with the person—not the policy.
The questions that matter
Would income keep coming in while you recover, or would the bills immediately fall on your family?
Which benefits stay with you, and which disappear the moment you leave the job?
Would your family have time to grieve—or be forced into financial decisions before they are ready?
Protection should fit your life—not force your life into a sales pitch.
That is the Route 66 Financial Guardians difference.
Plain-English guidance
Understand options that may help if illness or injury keeps you from earning a paycheck.
Build a plan around the people who depend on you—not around an arbitrary coverage number.
Learn what is truly yours, what belongs to your employer, and what happens when you move on.
Look beyond the truck payment to business obligations, personal income, and family stability.
Explore ways to organize old accounts and plan for income after your final run.
Put contacts, documents, and instructions where your family can find them when every minute matters.

We have lived this life beside you
Shellie founded Route 66 Financial Guardians with trucking woven through her family: her wife Amanda is an over-the-road driver, her mother Mia drove from 1999 until medical retirement, and both her father and brother have lived the road.
That means we understand that “just call during business hours” is not always realistic. We understand missed holidays, changing routes, uncertain schedules, and how much one person’s paycheck can carry.
We are here to serve before we sell, explain before we recommend, and treat your trust like it matters—because it does.
